It seems like the year had just started and now we are down to the last few weeks before summer. My children have grown in so many ways and I love each and every one of them. I am so very thankful that you have let me be their teacher. I will miss them but will catch kisses and hugs in the hall.
During May we will be making Mother's Day art, caterpillars and butterflies and flowers. We will be going over the letter M, number 9, color yellow and the rectangle. Creature teacher will come on Wed. May 23 and the ice cream truck will come on Thurs. May 24. Vaughn turned 3 on April 30 and Madelyn will be celebrating her birthday on Wed. May 16th. We were so sad to see our Addy move away. She will be missed.
We will be singing 2 songs for our end of the year program on Thursday, May 17 at 11:00. Our end of the year party will be given by Deborah Martin and Ashley D. Williams. Many thanks.

April showers bring May flowers. Fortunately we have been having wonderful weather and taking full advantage of it, playing outside. Our Easter break is coming quickly, Fri. April 6-Fri. April 13. Classes will resume on Monday, April 16.
Right after we get back from break Furniture Market is about to begin. Parson's Table is from Fri. April 20-Thurs. April 26. Traffic will be a zoo and parking will be scarce. Also toddler parents will begin the drive-thru. Needless to say it's gonna be crazy. I will be working Parson's Table but will be checking on my class.
During April we will learn the letter B, number 8, color purple and shape oval. Our topics are Easter, zoo, ocean life and caterpillars and butterflies.
Vaughn will be our first child to turn 3 on April 3. Happy Birthday!!! Our Easter party is Thurs, April 5 given by Stacey Yow and Alicia Balado. Many thanks..Congratulations to Kent for becoming a big brother to a sister, Anna LeGates. Glad all went well.

Wow is this year flying by. Here we are in March. The children are enjoying class and about half are working on the potty.
During March we will be talking about spring weather, St. Patrick's Day, birds and Easter. The color of the month is yellow, number 7, diamond shape and letter L. Library Liz will be reading us books on Monday, March 5. Friday March 16th is wear green day. Creature teacher will arrive on Wed. March 21 and our Easter egg hunt will be on Wed. March 28th. Please send in a basket.

Well we got through January with no bad weather. Two more months to go. I could get use to this warm weather in the winter. Hope you are enjoying it as well.
During February our topics are Valentine's day, circus, dental care and shapes. We will go over the letter V, number 6, color pink and the heart shape.
Our Valentine's party will be on Tuesday, Feb. 14th, hosted by Carrie Camp and Deborah Martin. Library Liz will come read us some books on Thursday, Feb. 16 and the creature teacher will come on Wed. Feb. 29th. Wonder what animal she will bring this month? We will also be starting a music class once a month.
Conferences went wonderfully. That's not surprising when I have a class of sweet, smart children.
Our annual fundraiser, Festival of Friends, will be on Thursday, March 1. Don't forget to fill out your forms for food, tickets, etc. We are working hard in our class on our class project and art for the walls and tables.
The ugly viruses have started. Please keep your child home if they have not been fever free for 24 hours or have been sick on their stomach. The noses are running and coughing is everywhere. We love having your child, but please keep them home if they are not feeling well.
Also remember if we have bad weather to check Fox 8 or call the preschool number and listen to the recording to see if we are delayed or closed.

Congratulations to Aubrey by becoming a big brother to 2 sisters today, Friday,Jan. 6th.
Also registration for next year will start on Wed. Jan. 18th. DO NOT DELAY!! After Jan. 25, registration will be open to everybody and no spots will be guaranteed.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. The 2 weeks sure did fly by and everyone was eager to come back to school.
With the threat of frozen weather in the next few months, make sure you call the school and listen to the recording or watch FOX8.
During the month of January we will study the color blue, shape triangle, letter S and number 5. We will be doing lots of art about snow, penguins and polar bears, farm and teddy bears.
We will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16 and Tuesday, Jan 17. On the 17th we will be having our conferences. There is no school for the children but there will be child care for you while you are in your conference.
Library Liz will come read us books on Mon. Jan. 9th and Creature teacher will come on Wed. Jan. 18th.
I will be sending home a schedule of conferences shortly. If there is a conflict, please let us know asap so we can reschedule.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate lots of turkey. After our break, we have started singing Jingle Bells and making many xmas crafts.
During December we will learn the color green, number 4, letter C and the star shape.
We will dismiss at 11:00 on Friday, Dec. 9 so the teachers can enjoy our staff xmas party. On Monday Dec. 12, Library Liz will visit us with some books. Wed. Dec. 14 we will ALL wear our pj's, enjoy pancakes at 9:45 and then sit on Santa's lap.

Our last day before the holiday break is Friday, Dec. 16th. We will return on Tues. Jan. 3.

Wow! Thanksgiving Holiday is right around the corner. We have been diligently singing our turkey songs for our Thanksgiving program.
During November we will learn the color brown, square shape, number 3 and letter T. We have been making lots of turkey art.
Don't forget our program on Thursday, November 17 at 10:00 followed by a covered dish feast. The program will be in the sanctuary and the feast will be in the fellowship hall. Looking forward to seeing all of you there.
Child Enrichment will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.
Our Fundraiser at Barnes and Nobles will be Friday-Sat, Nov. 18-19. Our art will be displayed throughout Barnes and Nobles.

My how time flies. I can't believe we are already in October. All of my friends are learning to play and share with each other. We are also working on standing in line to leave the room.
During the month of October we will learn the color orange, letter P, shape triangle and the number 2. Our art will be pumpkins, fall, scarecrows, community helpers and Halloween.
We had our first fire drill today. Luckily we were on the playground so nobody was scared of the noise. On Monday, Oct. 17th the fire truck will come for a visit. Thursday, Oct. 20th is wear orange day. Creature teacher will come on Wed. Oct. 26th and the Halloween party will be on Thursday, Oct. 27th.
